Childhood violence and its lifelong impact – 2026 edition
This publication provides an overview about the prevalence of gender-based violence focusing on childhood and adulthood experiences. The report provides a short methodological overview of the data source, continuing with the main results on violence experienced by non-partners and intimate partners as well as experiences before age 15. It also gives main results on the impact of childhood experiences on adulthood including socio-economic outcomes and an estimated likelihood to experience violence during adulthood.
