FIGARO-NAM: Multi-country National Accounting Matrices based on FIGARO – 2025 edition
The FIGARO tables, i.e. the EU inter-country supply, use, and input-output tables, are a widely recognised analytical tool for examining the socio-economic and environmental impacts of globalisation within the EU. By integrating a National Accounting Matrix (NAM) framework, their analytical scope is expanded, linking economic, capital, and financial markets. The FIGARO-NAM database, a pioneering effort by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) and Eurostat, enhances economic analysis across EU Member States and their trade partners, offering a vital resource for researchers and policymakers.
