The publication ‘A look at European farms – agricultural census results’ presents a collection of statistics on the structure of agriculture in the European Union using visualisations. It shows key information about farms, farmland, farms managers and farm labour from the last agricultural census in 2020, providing valuable insights. The EU agricultural census is carried out every 10 years in all 27 EU countries and some EFTA countries. It is the only source that provides statistical information at the most detailed geographical level on the European farming sector as a whole.
